Feringhee (don't worry about spelling it's all phonetic) is the Arabic rendering of Frank meaning Northern European crusader by derivation. It is nowadays more a generalised term; I never heard it used in conversation
 
There is also Nazrani for Nazarene, or Christian. Ajanabil for foreigner of any race and Kafur, or Kaffir for non -believer.
 
The word infidel used so often by newspaper reporters is Latin for unfaithful abd i do not know of any Arabic connotation. But languages are always fluid.
 
As in Al asuad al Irish :- Black irish
