I think that the only the thing that prevented WW3 between the US and the USSR was mutually assured destruction.  Some of these countries looking for Nukes and developing Nukes do not care.  I am sure they look at it as martyrdom.

Personaly I think this nutter in Iran does not realy care if a war breaks out with Israel or even USA.
