Not only didn't I get it, I wasn't even called in for the 2nd interview so I wasn't even a favorite. Ouch, blow to the self-esteem.
There happens to be an HR Rep position open at the community college where I used to work as a temp for about 9 months. Sounds like the same exact position I was in, so hopefully that increases my chances, but I have no idea if there are people already in the office wanting to transfer to that position. Usually they take care of their employees before hiring outsiders.
Pay isn't great, but benefits are - including free schooling so I can work on a degree and cost me nothing - so I applied, anyway. They review applicants at the end of the month, so it's nothing I will know about soon.
Thinking what credit cards I can let slip and not pay, anymore. That's how bad it is. We're a month behind in the mortgage.
I don't know how we're going to make any of this up when I can't find employment. I never dreamed it would ever be like this. Someone needs to fix this economy in America or we're screwed. |

Tova....... praying you find something soon. I know how hard you are trying to find a job and it sucks.I know i'm thinking about a part/time job to help get head.make ends meet..........someone really needs to help us out of this hell we are in right now.I told Kev we are robbing Peter to pay Paul and mugging John to pay Paul........it sucks |

Yes, I have been grocery shopping on a new credit card because my other ones are maxxed out.
What are ya gunna do?? It is what it is. All I can do is my best to find a job, and if we have to file bankruptcy then that's what we do! |
