We did consulated all our loans and credit card bills. The company is saving us over 25,000 but we have 3years bad credit. But i guess we have high risk credit anyways so it's 6 of 1 half a dozen of another, right.
I feel we have done the right thing. We are going to get our of debt and we won't be living off of credit cards.........This took alot for us to admit we needed help but once we got it,i'm greatful for it.

Jenn,

Congratulations on that, it is a huge step and it was a smart one to get all of your debt in one place so it may make it easier to whittle down.

Brian and I have done the same thing without the consolidation company, we transfer balances from one card to another, but they are sticking it to us with the extra charges and finance charges, trust me.
Ugh if I could go back in time and not have used the credit cards so much! UGH!!

Jennifer

Saving 25,000 is WORTH only 3 years of bad credit. You save more in the end than you would if your credit was better. If you were about to finance a home or something, it might be different and you'd want to get locked into that low credit rate before doing this, but you're not in that situation so you did the best thing to help your lives become more manageable.

Good for you!

I'll be next!!
