Weee, I am getting a Wiiii!
Finally.
I know I am broke, but I have to have something for Christmas for my kids. The only credit card I have that has any credit on it (because I never used it!) is a Circuit City card. So I am limited to electronics!!
Thankfully, they just got Wii's in stock (so freaking hard to find there!) and I got a bundle pack for the kids and Mike for Christmas from Santa.
Not sure how else I am going to squeeze some extras under that tree, but at least they have one big gift that all will enjoy. I got a special price on Rock Band set that comes with the guitar and drums. I know Mike will poop his pants playing that thing.
I also got a special price on the new Dance, Dance Revolution which I am HOPING my kids will love and actually get off their butts while playing games. That is the hope behind the Wii. If they are going to be sitting on their butts when they are at home playing games, it's time to get them games where they have to get off their butts to play.
So I'm pretty happy for them. Mike will kill me because we'll have one more payment, but it's freaking Christmas, what was I supposed to do, nothing?? |

I love my Wii!!!!!!! We have Wii Fit and the kids love it!!!!They also love Wii Sports and there are other games but i can't remeber them right now. Get Wii Fit and i know you'd like it to work out and it might help with the weight loss you have been trying to lose.trust me you get a work out with it. But i love it and i'm sure your family will too!!!!!! |

I got the rock band because that is physical, and I read about dance, dance revolution and the lady who wrote about it talked about it working up a sweat and all. I thought they'd be more likely to do that one than Wii fit. But we'll see!
I have never been in the same room as a Wii outside a store display, so I know nothing about them, how they work, etc. I'm not big on video games at all, so it probably won't be me, but hopefully for the active games I'll get sucked in. Me and Amber playing Dance, Dance Revolution jumping around on the dance pad! No video cameras, please!!!
As far as a work out, I go to the gym and I also ride my bike. It's not so much a lack of exercise but the fact that I am eating all my frustrations and emotions. All the stress, the depression on not working and falling so behind in bills. I know I am using food like cigarettes... Or heroin!! ;-)
All the exercise in the world can't undo when I keep eating those Hershey Bars with almonds whenever I get all stressed out! AHHHHH! |
