I don't know if I ever mentioned but Lisa finally got into a brownie troop. Amber is still waiting for Girl Scouts to find a place for her. I paid her yearly tuition in early September, but have not received a call from them at all.

Whatever, man!

Neither of my kids have ever done these things so I am glad for them. And poor Mike, he's a brownie dad because I am in my CERT class on Thursdays when Lisa has her meeting. hee, hee. He LOVES being a brownie dad! ;-)

Cool about the badges!! I will have to remember to bring that up. I found out next week is my last week of CERT training and I get my certificate so I'll be able to get more involved with brownies and girl scouts.

I have always wanted to do Girl Scouts and even looked into it when Amber was so young that she would have been a daisy. But there were never any groups. I would have had to be a leader to start one! I wasn't ready for that commitment to all those kids!

So I am glad she gets to check it out. And me, too!
