It's called I LOST IT and it's all successful weight loss stories of all types.  One was on tonight where a 5'7" woman weighed 305 pounds.  She had 4 kids, stay at home...   She was in denial, and saw her chart at her DR saying "OBESE" and also they told her she was going to have a stroke.  So she did weight watchers and she's now 160 pounds and a size 6.  But she said she struggles, still, with wanting to eat the stuff she loves that made her so big, but we wears a reminder.  And that's one of their tips.  She has a bracelet she wears every day that is really big on her and it used to fit tight.  So that is her reminder of where she came from and what she doens't want to go back to.

Another woman was fed up, after many things happened.  The final straw was when she went to a gas station to by her candy bar and a homeless man saw her and said, "Lady, you have too much food in you!" and people around started laughing.  She was totally humiliated, and that was her straw.  She started her own program and she's thin now.  Just her own eating program, what she could work with.  She wrote a book, I forgot what it's called but some other woman came to her book signing and said she lost 180 pounds (and is not thin!) after reading the book!  Because she's just a regular person like anyone else, no fancy trainers, no fancy equipment and special time and money.  And for her, she gave herself incentives.  Like she LOVED ice cream.  She found her comfort in the food.  So she would make a promise like, "If I go a week without the ice cream, I get a pedicure." and it turned out that these other gifts she was giving herself ended up making her feel better than the food did.  And once she saw it coming off, well of course that is incentive.  She used to weigh like 290 or something.

Some of the stories are people who used ATKINS, this one amazing man today used a program called FIT FOR LIFE.  Some have surgery whether it be gastric bypass or gastric banding, some use weight watchers or just their own thing.  All the stories are different and all inspiring.  You can usually relate to something from everyone, even those who have a lot of weight to lose or those who just want to drop 20-30 pounds from having babies.  It's a really good show, I think.  I believe it's on DISCOVERY HEALTH.

Sounds great!  Another good one is on the Life Network.  It is called Taking it Off.  It follows a group of people on their weight loss journey.
