I thought I would post different things that can help ya get through times when you don't know what to make! Any others have snack ideas?
~Nik

Roll Ups.. Roast beef- Find a roast beef lunch meat that fits this diet. Take softened cream cheese and mix it with fresh chives. Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture on a slice of roast beef and roll it up! Figure out the carbs...can vary depending on amounts used. Quick, simple and easy.

Ham- Same as above but for this filling you can spread a layer of softened cream cheese on and add a slice of dill pickle...then roll it up.

Chicken- Same as above...this filling is cream cheese, onion powder, garlic salt and dried dill weed....and roll it up.

be creative...use whatever seasoning you like and try new meats!

Deviled eggs
Hard boiled eggs
create different dips for meat...for chicken, like slice up breasts and dip into a mayo and yellow mustard mix.

Meatballs(bite size).....make up a mexican dip....sour cream and taco seasoning....or sour cream and picante sauce.

for veggies- use whatever salad dressing you can find low in carbs...ranch is a fave...and dip veggies in. As a variation add sour cream to the dressing to make it thicker and not as strong.

Cheese sauce- amount you would like of 0carb Heavy Whipping Cream in a pan and bring to a boil. Add about a handful of cheese and mix well. Simmer until it reaches the thinckness you prefer. To make a really yummy sauce or gravy... add the whipping cream in meat drippings and bring to a boil etc. Use this on everything...veggies, meats, eggs...

make a cheese ball for crackers that had cream cheese as the base, then chopped walnuts and chopped up green olives in it...something like that...thought that might be yummy too :o)
