So, that joint pain is getting worse.  That rheumatologist who promised to see me right away if the Celebrex wasn't working in 2 weeks just happened to be on vacation at that time.  He can't possibly see me, according to nurse so and so, until the 30th.  So, in the mean time I can just not sleep or work or hardly function anymore.  It's gotten so bad I can't even type for more than a sentence or two without stopping.  I tried to consult with doctors at Chicago's Northwestern Hospital.  They said I should send them the information from the one doctor and they would have their doctors review it and see if they would do anything differently for treatment.  WHAT THE HELL!?!?  ANYTHING WOULD BE DIFFERENT, ONACONA HE'S DOING NOTHING!

How hard is this?  And why are people treating me like this is all in my mind?  That's it, I'm pretending for all the fabulous drugs they are giving me... yeah.....

I just want some quality of life, is that too much to ask?

Yesterday I couldn't even hold a plate of food to give to my child.  There has to be something SOMEONE can do.

*sigh*  life sucks

I don't know what will come of it, but I know a friend of mine suffers from RA (after the death of her father, apparently it can be stress-induced which you surely know) and also a co-workers of my sister's that spoke of her treatment often.

I have emailed your post (I hope that's OK) to both of them, hoping they can give some insight as to what may have worked best for them with these issues.

I know they both have had terrible suffering in the past, yet I ran into my friend at Target the other day and she seems very well, holding many items, did not complain of RA at all.

Hoping she has some answers for you...

I will post if I hear a single peep. Promise!

Gos is so wish i could help you.....
I truely know nothing about RA other than how painful it can be and how it puts people down for days when they have attacks..........i hope you can find something that will work and help.
Does the weather make it worst??I know people complain about different things when the weather gets bad..........but i wish i could help.
