can't sleep tonight.  my dog is whimpering like crazy and i don't know what the heck he wants.  i've tried everything to please him, but he just keeps it up.  i don't think he's hurting cause he jumps around all excited like when i get up, but he won't go out.  wish i could understand him.  he just stares at me.  i am bewildered.

hey Blossom, long time, no see! Your doggy was trying to tell you something... I just don't know what.  About 15 years ago or so, we had a young poodle who woke  us up yapping. After about ten minutes of thinking we were hearing a plane, we figured out that the gas hot water heater was about to blow.
Come back more often, it's great to see you.

thanks ladymars.  something sure has him spooked.  i think it may be a salomader (sp?) in the yard.  who knows.  i have some calming tablets that i give him during a thunderstorm, so tonight i'm going to try that.  hopefully, this will pass soon.
