My son Robert & I were visting my mother one day when he was two years old.
Robert loved soup and Mama was out of everything except cream of mushroom soup. I didn't think he would like it, but there wasn't much that he would turn down.
We watched him picking out the mushrooms with each spoonful that he ate.
Finally, Mama asked, "Robert, what are you doing? Don't you like your soup?"
Very, very politely, Robert said, "Maw Maw, me don't eat boogers."
