I haven't been here as much as I like,But I went to Dr. Wed. and still have Pneumonia(about a month),but My request is for My Dad.We took him back to the hospital last night,He still has Pneumonia and is very ill,his heart is racing,blood pressure is high,fever 102,up and down,and very week.He just got out of the Hosp.Labor day weekend with the same.Please keep him in Your Prayers for me.Thank You all You are the best!

Caryn, I will pray for healing for both of you. I know you are worried sick about your dad. Girl, you sound like you need to be in the hospital yourself. Pneumonia is nothing to play around with. Prayers for both of you added to my prayer list. |

Thank You all so much. I wnet back to Dr. today,she wanted me to go to hospital,but don't want to.am really sick,but I'll get more rest at home. I'm in a real Funk right now cause I can't go see Dad,I don't want to make him worse,but want to stay with him and help take care of Him.I know this is best not to go,but I am just heart broken over it. Thank You all You are good friends,Love and Prayers to You all.

An update on Dad. He had a swallow test done yest. and all is well there,after the test his Temp. went back to 102,still has the high b/p and heart rate.They are doing an endoscopy on him today to look at his throat,esophagus,,etc... He hasn't had a good night's sleep since he got there,He's so weak coughing, adn tired. I can't go see Him,I have pneumonia and the Dr. thinks since I've had it as long as he has that we are just passing it backand forth. I wish I could be there,but don't want to do him any more harm. Thanks to all!!

Bless your heart, I know it must be frustrating to want to go see your dad but can't. Just know that you are doing a good thing by staying away till YOU are well. LOVE YOU!!!! |

Thank you all for Prayers,they did a Thorcentesis on Dad and drew off a liter of fluids from his lungs,He is still very sick and they are hoping his asbestos(Mesotheleoma) has not flared up,it's been dormant since 1989,pray it hasn't.I was in hospital yesterday,my pneumonia worsened,but after poking,proding IV's oxygen,and lots of meds,I am home today and feeling better.Taking all those steroids makes my immune system fail.
