Could you put me on your prayer list? I have to get spinal surgery on December 13th. They are fusing 3 vertabrae and doing an abdominal spinal decompression. Yep a scar in the back and a scar in the front. I am really not looking forward to this, but I know it will help me alot. Any way, If you could put me on your list the help would be appreciated. Hey 10, I know you're going to be just fine. But I'll be sending up prayers for you. I've never had back surgery but I've more than had my share of other surgeries. Hopefully the recoup time won't be too bad, heck you might get to where you enjoy kicking back and being waited on, lol. If you get too bored, just give us a yell and we'll post back and forth or something. Oh...do you have a laptop? If you don't, might want to rent one for a few weeks, lol. You know I'm joking, but seriously, everyone will be praying for you, and I know without a doubt you're going to do just fine. Just keep us posted...or tell someone to email any of us. Wow,,, Sorry I didn't see your post yesterday,,, you know me,,, Boy,, I have a couple herniated discs,, and they did a spinal tap on me,,, but you're getting the major work over,, ha,,, Just remember,,, You gotta laugh,, or you'd cry,,, that's how I feel sometimes,,,, well,, I hope God and the Angels watch over you,, and keep you safe,,, and wish you a speedy recovery,,, I'll be Praying,,,, |

I have my surgery in 2 weeks now. I have to stop all my pain, and anti-inflammatory medicines today. I and my family aren't looking forward to that at all, LOL! But, in order for me to be ready for surgery I have to. I think everything will be fine, but it is a difficult surgery, and a long one. I guess I'm not looking forward to it at all, and I have never been under anestesia that long, and I don't do too well with anestesia anyway. Soooo, thanks everyone for your kind words and prayers. Please keep em a coming. |

| I think of you often and you are in my prayers. I am adding your surgical team to that list tonight. I understand your dread as in the past 4 years I have had back surgery, internal hernia patch and repair, and polyps removed from my colon and stomach. I dreaded every one of them. But the results were good. I hope you are able to manage your pain without the meds. God Bless. | |

I want to thank everyone for your continued prayer and support. I really think it is helping. I probably will be gone a few weeks during the holidays, unable to post, but will be in as soon as the Dr. allows! Everybody have a great Christmas. |

Heyyyy 10, I've been worried about you! Hope you're making it ok without your meds? I don't think it could be easy... I'm sure gonna miss you while you aren't able to post ... I've also been worried about how we're gonna know you're ok and recouperating (You know by now I'm a nosey ole biddy) Star |
