If I didn't love my daughter so much, I'd just as soon choke her!  She is almost 20 years old and pregnant with my first grandchild.  So she knows I'm gonna be hungry for news from her, of how she's doing, etc.  She lives about an hour away so I can't go see her.  But will she call me?  Noooo... I have left her several messages in the last five days to call me.  I've tried her cell phone and her hubby's cell phone, neither of which they answer.  I called her hubby's shop to see if they were there.   The guy said no, but they stop in most every night for an hour or so.  She was in town and didn't even call me!  (At least I know she's alive, I guess that's something, huh?  At least someone has seen her...)  I haven't talked to her in almost two weeks.  I am assuming she's still alive and still pregnant, but I couldn't swear to it - a lot can happen in two weeks, you know?  She could at least leave a message on my voicemail telling me she is okay.  It's not like I have to talk to her once a day or anything - once a week would be better than nothing!  I know - when I was her age I treated my mom pretty much the same.  Wish Mom were here now - I owe her a big apology...

Rebca. I don't know why they do the things they do. They don't realize how much we worry and just plain miss them.  Their turn is coming and I dread it for them.
