ELVIS PRESLEY CAKE Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix
1 lrg. can crushed pineapple
1 1/2 cups sugar
ICING:
Cream 8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 stick of butter
1 t. vanilla
1 box of sifted confect. sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions: Cook pineapple & sugar until
dissolved. cook cake per box
inst. . cool..punch holes in
cake and pour pineapple/sugar
mixture over layer.
For ICING: Cream butter (room
temp.) with cream cheese, and vanilla. Gradually add confect.
suger. Fold in pecans.
Pour over cake layer
Bake in 9 x 12 pan at 350 degrees for 40 min.
Refrigerate
