I liked it...Good lesson. Don't judge a book by it's cover! |

The first time I read this story(which by the way was written by one of hubby's friends), the narcissistic side of me(believe it or not, I admit, I do have a teeny weenie streak of that stuff ) thought " hey, that's what you get for drinking and thinking bonehead! . Then I asked my husband if his friend actually thought about cleaning out a seven eleven store? He laughed and said "I don't know...it never really crossed my mind to ask" Hmmmmmmmmmm....Well, I certainly hope that our friends would turn to us first before ever resorting to such drastic, immoral and totally wrong measures when they are down on their luck! I strongly believe that there's no excuse for taking that which has not been given to you freely! Thanks for sharing your thoughts guys! -t- |

To paraphrase an Aaron Tippin song: Roll out of the sack every mornin', head on down to the mill Give 'em all I got for eight, 'cause that's the deal If you'll check out my paycheck Well, you'll see that there ain't that much on it But ev'ry single penny I'm paid, I got it honest
I never had to hang my head in shame For puttin' a price tag on my name Never turned my back on what I believe Or let my heart be ruled by greed 'Cause buddy if I didn't earn it, I don't want it That way I can always say, I got it honest
