I agree totally with the point that (I think) you are trying to make, which is that we must make a conscious decision to spend time with our kids doing things together (even little things like watching their fav t.v. show), and thereby creating the fond memories they will have of us when they grow up and we are no longer here.   However, I did struggle a bit with the story.  In particular, the section where you describe your hubby's job and your job at the hospital.  It just felt awkard, in a way... Maybe too much detail or something?  Other than that, I liked it!

And it gets better (I think).  I made additional changes and will send out the final draft for publication by tomorrow(Friday).  Will post link as soon as it pops up online.
