Fall Swap Sign Up: Now through September 15th Blocks will be due by October 31st to Ruth's House Block: Home Circle from Quilter's Cache - 10" block ![](login.srf-lc=1033&id=1929&ru=http---www.msnusers.com-TheNewStrollingTheBlock-msgattachments-464&tw=43200&kv=9&ct=1226374334&kpp=1&ver=2.1.6000.1&rn=Oyh-BSSt&tpf=22e8317d37492a124864bea58eb26663) http://www.quilterscache.com/H/HomeCircleBlock.html Background must be Kona Beige - 2nd color will be quilter's choice as long as it is a FALL color. You can sign up for sets of 6 (up to 4 sets for 24 blocks total). If you sign up for more than one set, please make sure that your other sets have a different fall color. -
Make as many blocks as you would like to swap up to 24 using guidelines below. -
Group them in baggies of 6 blocks, using the same fabric combinations in each baggie of 6 blocks. This equals one set. -
If you choose to swap more than 1 set (6 identical blocks), you must choose another fabric for the fall color. Use your new choice of fabric to make 6 identical blocks and call them Set 2 and place them in another baggie. Repeat to create set 3 and 4 if you want to swap the maximum number allowed for this swap. -
There is no sewing your individual blocks together. Once your blocks are made, mail them out. Further sewing will take place when you receive the swapped blocks back. You can then sew individual blocks together in a setting of your choice. -
You will receive back as many blocks as you send out. You will not get one from every participant and you do not need to make one for every participant. This way you are free to make only what you feel you can handle time wise. E-mail Ruth your address and how many sets you will be making. This is a centralized swap, so you will need to mail our your blocks so they arrive on or before Octover 31st. As soon as she gets all the blocks, she will mail out the swapped blocks. Please include postage stamps and an addressed envelope (not a metered stamp or envelope) to send blocks back to you. If you are not in the U.S., please send one FQ for each set you send instead of postage. Instead of doing a tracker this time, we are going to do a swap chart. Please update the chart at least once a week with your progress. You will need to copy the chart and add your information to it to sign up. Please do not forget to e-mail Ruth. Thanks! |
