I haven't heard it mentioned but I think a 12" block is appropriate for SS.  We've had great designers this year and hopefully some of the new designers that helped out will encourage other members to give it a try.

 

I have to say all it took was personally asking 2 of our members to try their hand at a month and they didn't hesitate to design a block.  Their blocks were very nice and they let me know that they actually enjoyed designing it! 

 

So come on ladies and let's have some new blood:  you already have the Sunbonnet Sue design. 

 

Oh and off topic I'm finally able to do more with left arm/hand and have been busy all morning around the house.  I even cooked breakfast so feel I'm really on the mend.  Thanks for all your kind thoughts and prayers.  Sincerely,
