  • A site created and actively managed by MSN
  • A site that has an official relationship with MSN
  • A private site
  • A site with mature content
  • A site deemed especially cool by MSN
  • A site that is moderated by managers
  • You will find these just to the right of the group's name at the top left of the page.

If there is nothing there (no icon) it just means they are 'G' Rated and an 'Open to All' group.

That indicator means you have a unique MSN nickname BB.  Without one you can't do certain things in MSN groups, such as changing your profile, or at least that's the way it was the last time I checked.

That's because we don't have unique IDs BB. Some of us here are old timers who created our MSN nicknames before MSN decided to force unique identities on everyone who wants to create or change a nickname.

They say the only dumb question is the one you don't ask, and I kinda believe that BB.  So never hesitate to wonder out loud here ok?
