For those of you who like to follow my aimless wanderings, I've updated my web site about our recent trip to the Upper Great Lakes region.

That is so clever Bossman, I thoroughly enjoyed taking the trip.  The site has been saved to my Favourites for future plundering of pictures

DH has just looked at the pictures with me and said.............That is not unprofessional, it is highly professional"....................and, as much as I hate to agree with the man....................I do agree with him on that point.

That was absolutely fantastic JB. You have made me want to go and explore the northern states now more than I even did before. The photography was great and very professional. I am so glad that you and Sandy had such a great trip.NancyNC

Beautiful..beautiful...beautiful

I looked at this during the nite..mmmm...3-4am....(another sleepless nite)  and thought it was absolutely stunning!  I don't know why I didn't leave a comment then...other than the fact that my brain has been racing (something it has never experienced before)...and I must have just 'forgot' to post anything.

And this evening, I went back through it to read about that GPS thingy you used.  And the reason I wanted to find out about it was because when I got home this evening, Mr T2 had a Garmin Foretrex GPS next to my chair ...a surprise gift he bought me to use when I get lost in parking lots.  LOL   Actually, I don't think mine is quite as fancy as yours because mine doesn't have a printer.  LOL  Just joshin' ya.....

Anyway, it looked and sounded like you had a wonderful trip!

Thanks ya'll. IMO the Great Lakes region is the last not really quite yet discovered treasure of the USA, and Canada too I'm sure, but so far I can only speak about the USA side. Some day though....

Tommye you underestimate yer GPS box. Mine is literally just a little ol' yaller box with no display, no dials, no knobs, hell it don't even have pubic hair.

JohnBoy, those pictures are absolutely stunning. Thanks for allowing us to go on your vacation with you through those pictures. I used to live in Michigan many, many years ago. I told my wife that I wanted to go back a visit someday. Now, I'm ready to go. Those pictures has made me wish I could go as soon as possible.

Thanks ©Jecakias?

So far I've been to 47 of the 50 states and Michigan is one my favorites for sure. Michigan, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and the few sane areas left in California would make my top 5 if I were to make a list.

Joy even if you had only seen one state in the USA you'd be way ahead of what I've seen so far of the UK.

Maybe some day I'll get over there.....

Thanks for the kind words though, the check is in the mail.

There will always be a little place for you here in England   By the way, can you sign that cheque with your real name this time?  The bank told me they will no longer accept cheques signed by Rob
