Dylyn....my 5 yr old grandson.

I pick him up each morning and take him to school before I go to work.  The ride to town is 'our time'...giving us a chance to visit/connect each day.

Anyway, I picked him up Thursday morning and on our ride to town, I mentioned to him that Anna (his cousin) had a stomach 'bug' and had been feeling bad.  Little did I know that he would take the term "bug" literally...thinking that Anna had a LIVE BUG in her stomach.  After numerous questions from him about this 'bug' that Anna had in her stomach, I decided to change to the subject to something a little more pleasant.  I dropped him off at school...and went on my merry way to work.

The next morning when I went to pick him up, he was dragging his Mom out the door...out to the car.  He swung open the car door and said, "Gimme....tell Momma about that bug that Anna swallowed!"   Bless his heart, he had worried the whole 24 hours since our last visit about the ill-fated Anna and her 'bug'.   His Mom and I tried convincing him that it wasn't really a bug that was in her stomach but rather a 'germ'.

He was quiet while riding to town.  We had gone about 5-6 miles, when he said, "Gimme....you don't reckon Anna swallowed a bee, do ya?"

LOL Ya gotta love them little rascals dontcha Tommye?

Mine will be here Wednesday night and I'm kinda anxious to see them as it's been 7 or 8 weeks since we've bothered the hell out of them.

LOL Tommye, that is a good one.

When I was in Norwich a week or so back, with Hayden and Barbara, we were all sat around talking about what Adam and Barbara used to do as babies, and more importantly - say.

Have fun with the ankle biters Bossman

I look forward to being entertained by my grandson, NancyNC, but hopefully, he won't embarrass me as much as my daughter used to.

You may have heard this, if you have, look away LOL.  When Barbara was 2 and had discovered that men have willies, and boys have willies (we bathed as a family LOL), she would ask me, loudly, in supermarkets and shops........"has that man got a willy?" or "has that boy got a willy?"

Queueing at the till of Woolworth's in Gt Yarmouth, she noticed the yound lad on the till, he was neither boy nor man, he was a teenager, that in-between stage, and she was staring at him (like Hayden does in his pictures when he stares).......and I just knew what her question was going to be, so I kept trying to distract her.

Came out turn to be served and I had managed to distract her, but..........he smiled at her and said hello...........I groaned inwardly.............this little voice form this little girl could carry for miles!!!  she said to him   "do you have a big willy like my daddy or a little one like my brother?"

I swear the whole of the store fell silent and I am not sure who blushed more, me, as I made a hasty exit from the shop, or him, almost dropping my change as he handed it over........
