I have just been posting in our new home, and each time I post something, I get a message pop up saing something like "your reply is awaiting approval". If you click "ok" then the pop up disappears, but your message does not appear............I think it took several minutes for a tiny one to appear, and 10 minutes or more after posting one in the Good Morning thread, it still had not appeared. So, I went to my other group in Aimoo, and guess what - they are getting the same pop-up. No-one has commented on it so far because no-one is awake, I am the only Brit there who posts (they were foolish enough to let their bloody lurkers, join the new group!!  and there are two lurkers there from Britian who have never posted in the old group even!!). Unless of course, they HAVE commented on it and are still waiting for their replies to be approved LOL. So, my guess is, this is something Aimoo are doing...................I hope it is not yet another ploy to try to get us to start to pay for their services, seeing as the adverts did not annoy us enough to pay to get rid of them....................this is not good..... |

Oh I am not giving up JB - I mentioned it here because I was not sure if any messages were getting through over there. I know it is not confined to our group in Aimoo, and if anyone in the other group comes up with an idea or solution, or explanation, I will post it here. There are bound to be gremlins, I am not sure how old Aimoo is, but I am betting they were not ready for the flood of people they suddenly got LOL. |

Please be aware that there seems to be an aimoo wide approval of posts glitch since the new option to approve posts in any sub category was added. Admin has been flagged, please either post an announcement in your community about it or pm your members to make them aware of the glitch.
This thread has been locked by karrier to avoid post for approval (which i can't approve...yet)
this thread here for posting any remarks please, all posts will have to be approved etc....groan.

I followed the link and got no answers but at least it explains this approval stuff. I checked the settings for the group and they are set to let you post without moderation...this is all on Aimoo. I hope they get it fixed soon....I keep hoping we will find something better than MSN |
