I certainly enjoyed reading your missives, Joy. Wish I could have been with you! When you said you adopted 'a Gordon,' I thought you meant a dog ...
I'm sorry ... can't quite find the new place. I'm afraid I'll loose all of my old friends from here and the Babyboomers.
I've been quite busy with weddings, work, snow, quilt guild newsletter, snow, church, snow ... Actually, it's only this weekend that we have (so far) had about 10 inches of snow, but we're starting on another storm right now.
This year I decided to ditch my Charlie Brown scrawny Christmas tree and buy a new, cute, 4.5 foot tree. I love it since it comes with pre-installed white lights. While I love looking at my tree, I hate taking it down. This year, sadly, I don't have to worry about Puffer knocking it over. (It was kind of a tradition with the old one.)
My daughters will be coming Christmas Eve.

Have I finished shopping? I don't know -- half of the stuff is in transit from online shopping. Sigh. Have I bought the food? Nope, not yet.
I wish all of you a warm, cosy Christmas. I'm off to do a bit of cooking for a "Celebration of Life" for a long time church member who recently passed away. It's time for us to all count our blessings!
