I'm sure that you have seen pharmaceutical advertising in doctor's offices on everything from tissues to exam table cover paper. Well, in my book, this one should get the prize...
One of our doctor buddies e-mailed back:
'If the light stays on for more than 4 hours, call your electrician.'
have a good day....... |

I am definitely going to paint those around my light switches - may stop DH from switching the damn things on and off! Which uses up more electricity, leaving a 60 wat bulb on for a few hours, or switching the damn thing on and off several times a night when you walk into and out of a room? It is also a good way of knowing if the electric is on or off when a bulb goes, because I am more likely to remember which way "up" stands for ...........mind you, it used to be fun watching DH change a lightbulb when the power was still switched on..... I know I am going to regret asking this.....................but Tommye...........what is a Sharpie? |

Joy...a Sharpie is a black pernament marker. JB uses one on occasion to draw a mustache on himself, and occasionally some heavy eyebrows. |

Tommye I already gots the mustache and eyebrows but yer right that I use a sharpie ta color `em a mite.
That werks great as long as I grabs a black sharpie, but sometimes I grabs a red one and then people start calling me Joy. |

LOL you silly buggars!!! You have me chuckling here. Thank you for the somewhat normal explanation of what we call a "Permanent Marker" here, Tommye Oddly enough JB - I have seen you using that "sharpie" to colour in something, and even though your back was turned to the window through which I was peeping , it was not your eyebrows and beard you were colouring in. Judging by the angle at which you were bent, I am thinking that you were probably colouring in a face on your..........hand or something like that Oh wait a moment..... duh, how stupid am I? (answers on a postcard please).......I have seen permanent markers called Sharpie, in Staples!!! Hmmmmm, wonder if they do my shade of red/orange hair, I could do with something to cover up the gray hairs that insist on growing..... |
