I hope I got the date right and am not too early, or too late.

You know we all love you Rob and the old place is not going to be the same without you...........................so it is lucky that we are moving to a new place

JB says he will keep your place waiting for you, and mentioned something about sheep and a pen...........although how on earth you are supposed to write on sheep, with a pen, I have no idea....

Anyway, I made this for you

I feel the same way too - and somehow, I think he knows that also............I am thinking that he recognises he has limitations, and being the friend he is, he didn't want to hold us back......................in the words of  Dr. Frank n Furter (Rocky Horror show)..........."What a guy!"

LOL JB you silly sod....................but I am glad you did it ............."tha'll larn 'im not t' mess wiv us"

Lesley - I love that film, it ranks up there in my top 3 of films LOL - that one, Grease and The Quiet Man.  I rather fancy the bloke who is the blonde muscular man  , but also like Meatloaf, always have.  I don't think anyone can play Frank n Furter any better than the actor in that film, and oh buggar, his name escapes me because my brain cell is occupied elsewhere at the moment.............

The Rocky Horror show?

That was a movie? I've heard of Rocky the flying Squirrel and Bullwinkle the Moose, but I've never heard of the Rocky Horror show afore.

What year was it? About I mean, I'm just wondering if it might be one I can look for on Turner Classic Movies.

JB...you've never heard of the Rocky Horror Picture Show??  It has pretty much had a 'cult-type' following since being introduced in hmmm...early 70's.   It is a parody...with tons of audience participation.  I remember taking water guns, toast, rolls of toilet paper, confetti....(can't remember what else we would take) to throw during certain parts of the movie.  It was hilarious!   Actually, when we lived in Monahans, a group of us all went together and rented the clubhouse at the golf club...rented the movie...and 're-enacted' all the crazy stuff we had done in years past during the movies early years.    I think it still has quite a following of fans!    I think to really enjoy it though, to get the full effect, you would need to see it in a movie with all the 'props' that are brought in by the audience.

Ah, that splains why I'd never heard of it before Tommye.

Back in the early 70s I was overseas most of the time visiting museums and libraries.

Oh my lord Tommye................was it as long ago as that?  I know that I have been to a couple of parties, and the theme was the Rocky Horror show - in those days (ye Gods, maybe it WAS that long ago), but in those days, DH had the physique to be the muscle man...................I went once as the dancer Little Nell - think she played Magenta, or was it Columbine?  And I went once as the maid - and she was either Magenta or Columbine, either way, I never got to be the "good girl" Janet - hahaha.

I love to dance the Time Warp even now, and I think the show may well still be running at the West End in London - it always attracts people in costume, and I think at one point, Anthony Head (the professor in Buffy...............although Nancy/Zenith, and Lesley will know him as the Prime Minister in Little Britain) played Frank n Furter.
