I recently made a sponge cake bu as I am new to this I used a ready made mix. It said just add egg and water. It came out reasonably well but not something to talk about.

 

I have also made some Apple Crumble  and Pie (crumble- which I bought as a ready made mix) from (English Bramley apples from my garden)

 

can anyone give me a better well tried receipe
