The unanswered question
(Dedicated to our daughter Jaclyn
who has down syndrome
and is very special)
Her world consists of places
Unknown to our minds
Her children are dancing
invisible to our eyes
She's the star in a musical
To which our ears are deaf
She bows to a crowd
That we write off as imagination
But when tears fill my eyes
As greed and pain fills the world
Only she takes my hand
and says with open pure eyes
Daddy don't cry
It will be ok
They call her crazy
For living in her own world
But she sees true caring love
In a world full of hatred
Murder and greed prevail on this world
Intelligent professors lead us to darkness
High IQ politicians playing games with our lives
Leading the world to insanity
A question remains unanswered
In a slowly decaying world
No one can give the answer to
who really has the screwed mind
