A challenge for all
Brother kills brother and sister kills sister
Innocent children being slayed in terror
Bloodstained cities form dark gloomy skylines
on a world slowly rotting away
We kill and destroy, pollute and reap
a planet that could be a paradise
greed and jealousy spoil a money-ruled race
while a world is screaming in pain
A planet dies slowly as life deforms and mutates
chopped forests lay under carbondioxyde skies
Seawaves swallow lands, heatwaves burn cities
As a last resist against a species filled with arrogance
Today, july 8, the year two thousand and five
I stand up and take a leep of faith
I may be a simple and common man
But a beginning has to be sparked somewhere
I forgive anyone, anywhere on this world
that has done any wrongdoing to me
I bow my head and ask for forgiveness
for any wrongdoing I may ever have caused
No evil hatred will poison my brain
My heart is open for brotherhood
No thoughts of war will cloud my spirit
My soul will banish the dark
I have a challenge for everyone here and now
Different and worthier then posession and wealth
Can you lay down all weapons and start using tools
To save a world where we all need to live
I stretch out my hands, in trust and belief
to all six billion humans alive
Do you dare to take the challenge and take my hands
and start to form one united humanity
