one of the bakery clerks i work with is probably crazier than me.....she and i always keep each other laughing...she is also the only one in the bakery that knows about my mood swings....and she is really cool about it...i also know she wont tell anyone else.....

we have this display case in the bakery, with a St. Patrick's Day theme....among the items in this case are 5 bottles of Irish beer....now when i first saw this a few weeks ago, i brought this up to her...

"you know" i said to her, "i am pretty sure that we could empty those bottles, fill them back up with water, stick the tops back on, put them back in the case, and nobody would be the wiser"

she laughed and said "yeah, but with all these damn cameras around, id be afraid to try"

i told her, " they arent on early in the mornings you know....and think how nice we would be to all the customers...we would get 100%s all day!(secret shoppers) of course, we might be a little tipsy, but....." 

in another section of the bakery, we have an Easter display (dont you just LOVE how close all these hollidays are??!!), with three stuffed pastel rabbits...one blue, one pink, and one green...these were set up by our bakery manager, and it appears he had quite a bit of time on his hands that day....the blue one is sitting next to a bottle of sparkling cider...he has a tiny little champagne glass carefully taped to his right paw.....the pink one is in the center, he's ok so far....he is sitting straight up...the green one, im very worried about...he is slouched over a bottle of, yes, you guessed it, irish beer (thats where the sixth bottle went)....i had to take them down temporarily, to put an Easter backround behind them a few weeks ago....got Brian all worried when he came back....he saw them in the back room and asked me if i took them down...i told him i would be putting them back up...he was relieved, though that bob, our store manager (stories about this guy later), had seen the display and taken it down....i laughed and said no and that i would put them back up the way he had them.....they are still there...weeks later...but i swear to you all that green rabbit looks worse everyday
