lmao, they wont find anything. stevia has been around for years, decades actually, and is an approved sweetner in other countries. theyve force fed it down animals throats in lab studies and found no dangers. millions of people consume it. we just happen to live in a country that is so governed by politics that they will stop at nothing to convince the public that it is "bad" so they can seel more oft heir cancer causing, appetite stimulating chemicals. see, they cant regulate herbs. and they cant make money off what they cant regulate. so they spread lies instead. |

lol, thats my point. you take my posts all too seriously. if you happen to find those links about stevia being bad, they will be fda related links. stevia is used in many other countries, some as the accepted sweetener for drinks and foods. the reason those links are out there is because the fda cant make money on stevia. they can make money if people buy into the fear that stevia is "bad", and consumers reach for those chemicals that only make them hungrier (its known now that a lot of the fat free, sugar free items actually have appetite stimulants added.) i forget which sweetener it is that actually increases appetite; nutrasweet i think? thats why i find it funny. btw, fruit is still sugar. Stevia isnt. fruit is metabolised by the body a bit differently then standard table sugar, but diabetics still have to be careful. (example, those who have dwarf hamsters with diabetes or who might be suceptable to the disease should not be fed any fruit. Mika got very very little fruit before she turned 1 year.) thats why stevia is so attractive, because in diabetics, it not only doesnt affect blood sugar levels, but regulates them. stevia is an herb; you can actually grow it, and the leaves are very sweet tasting. but it doesnt act like sugar when consumed. |
