meet Jonathan:

Jonathan is an albino satin; the last of four brothers i smuggled home last spring; Benjamin and Timothy, cholate satins, and Jet, a black satin. he was a breeder in the back room with Sunflower, Nirvana and a few other girls as well as his brothers. hes not really fond of people, but like all the others, hes still pretty sweet. i think he has a tumor that is affecting his back legs, but he still gets around well enough, even using his wheel.

this morning, i introduced Jonathan to two very young boys. my hope is they all get along well and Jonathan will be happier socialising with other mice.

hoping these will go through; these are videos with him and each of the two new boys:

he seems happy, so hopefully this will work out. so far no fighting or squeaking.

update.  one of Jonathans buddies died last night (the little boy in the first video clip).  i swear Jonathan was looking for him afterward.  no signs of fighting or aggression, i know Jonathan had nothing to do with his death.  the tinier boy seems fine, im hoping he will be fine.

sweet, sweet boy, im already missing you.  and your buddy does too.  words cannot describe what an amazing soul youve been, and heaven is so lucky to have you now.  have fun, whatever you want is yours.  no more pain, no more suffering, no more dependence on people.  youre free now.  go find your babies, your littermates, your parents, your little buddy.  and please watch over your friend still here.

Jonathan:  2005 (?) - January 28, 2007.  just a mouse to some, perhaps, but here, you were so much more to me.
