if i dont post a picture of Sassy, shes going to be really upset with me. this pic was taken a while back, she is 16 now, but still as crazy as ever! my baby, her nickname (one of them) is "monkey" for her habit of clinging to me. she is the most beautiful cat in the world  also keeps me going on the hardest days. |

lol, jim, thanks. seriously thoughm theyve had her since tuesday, thats enough time, i had this really vivid dream she was back, and thought she was on the bed when i woke up,and swore i heard her meow when i was upstairs a little later. i told my mom this morning that id sign a waiver saying i wouldnt sue if my cat was glowing radiation or anything. i could get hit by a car crossing the street to go to the store, fall off a canyon in a bus on the way to work, anything, and they are worried about a little radiation? ive been exposed to more this week just living and breathing, then she could ever be emitting. nothing is totally safe, id take my chances, i do every day just getting up and leaving the house! if they dont call in an hour, im calling them. i only get an update every other day and i called yesterday at 3 and no one answered. i miss her though, i think im slowly losing my mind? |

they finally called me back, i left a message three hours ago, shes till doing great, levels have dropped but not enough for release, but she said maybe monday? (what about a day early??) anyway, just my update..... i miss my kitty! |

see, they heard me! they released her yesterday, and she got all her toys back, and her blanket, but i think someone stole her brush? .( i have an extra, though, of course!) she was pretty disoriented, wanted to check out everything, extremely restless and didnt want to sleep at first (normal i guess after being cooped up in a cage not even 3' x 3'). she seems better this evening though, more "here" instead of "there". outside sitting in the sun. gotta go, Sassy time  |

ok, i may be paying her off for a while longer yet, BUT i think it was worth it! you decide, these are before and after pics, the "before" one i just got back a few days ago, the "after" pic was taken an hour or so ago) she is almost her ideal weight again. BEFORE: (this one is hard to look at, because i remember how thin she got; its kind of hard to tell in the pic maybe, unless youre really looking. she was less then 6 pounds in this pic) AFTER: shes maybe 6 or 7 pounds here, i think her ideal weight was 7 or 8. shes a small kitty to begin with, but she did drop down to just a little over 5 last fall (i almost lost her then) notice of course, how beautiful she is in both pictures, she loves cameras and thinks she is the prettiest/cutest kitty on earth (and who can argue with her logic?!)  i still need to take her in for followup bloodwork, and her vet is anxious to see how she looks (shes very popular!). |
