If we build a page in here in the side board and transfer the HTML to the other site,
then delete it in here...............
will it still stay in tact over there?

think that is a good idea, just store the url codes to the backgrounds that are in the Quiet Corral to use, so we don't have to go there all the time when we want to build pages (i'm just as lazy as you are when it comes to destesting to do things that are not realy necessary to do if you know what i mean  ;-))

so for instance:

 butterfly background =
_Secure/0UgAYAyIavl*E2GTCkv10Qn6OGQFP3ro1VkSpoeEeoAtSjYtH4f7Hhp6wJpZ646tsZe6fY
utEXuowFMWG45tn6az*aueqPwk5lKCBpEs2FtmhgQel4Lb51P3O!OfkknOL/9f2butterflyback.jpg?dc=4675502958082939444

(this will run wide again, code is too long, but i don't want to cut it up to avoid mistakes in the copy and paste process)

posting it again, the scrolling back and forth is getting on my nerves......

but i think you are right, it's not realy necessary to add the code, you can just get it by clicking on the image and check properties ....

I guess when I do them I'd like to save them with the borders and everything already on them,
to save the whole page ready for the script.

such as this code

<TABLE borderColor=#ffcccc cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=10 bgColor=#ffccff background=/_Secure/0TADzAqMXqKCQs!*FbkPlcB1xVImKXFQhS*xlcnRd5YhHv7MmNQ2d2hcE5y0BJEFmjgSMaUh8Jy84vaJ22GZuPWTmp*pkqOnLaUDop4JHz46*XDcIsqXhKg/angelback2.jpg?dc=4675502958106625393 border=10>
<TBODY>
<TR>
<TD>&nbsp;</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

would save like this when it is done as html in the little box

and On a custom page the 'set' will expand when the text has been added.

So All we need to do is build the page in a custom web page

copy the code from the Html of the page, and add it to the face of a reply window

and also add the HTML to the HTML box, of the same reply window, which will show the example of the page..........

say what it's for, if it is for a special page,
(or not) if it is a random page.

Then just reuse the same custom page to make another set of sample pages,
to copy in a reply window.

How does that sound?

sorry I forgot this thread was wide.......

It's really simple Abi
And once it's done, it's learned

Ok let's look at where and what the HTML code is -

this is what's writen 'UNDER' a page, after a page is writen on, (HIDDEN)
(and it is called, the HTML code)

when you click the little square box (right above the send message button),
and directly under the tablet square that we write these messages on.
(it says Use HTML to create your page) etc, etc.

(just click a reply window and look at it.)

now write something and go click it.

that is what and where the HTML is

see how simple that was?

I went back and re-read your post #4 and it made sense to me this morning.

thanks and you will see what I've done in the thread

That's almost exactly what you said in here.
(some of this must have 'stuck' in my head yesterday, even if I didn't understand yesterday) LOLOLOL

You are teaching me things I had no idea about, just a couple of months ago.

linkware is that you use a webset that is made by someone else and obey their rules and provide a link back to their page, as i have done with

usually it is not allowed to alter the websets, but you don't have to use all the buttons provided, and you can sometimes rearrange the order or layout, it depends on the terms of use of the artist that made the webset

the wolf set was made by Penny Parker

she states on her site:

Please note that my images are NOT public domain.  The background sets included in the "Gallery" section of this site are free to use "as is" only on your own "personal" web pages that provide a link back to my site.  Please read my "Terms Of Use" before downloading or using anything from this site.

these are Penny Parker's terms of use:

1. All my artwork is copyrighted but I do allow my work to be used by GRAPHIC or WEBPAGE DESIGNERS for background sets, stationery, or screensavers for personal web sites only.  Please note that under NO circumstances is the creation of "TUBES" allowed.  If you would like the original picture(s) or painting(s) to create your own set(s), please email me and I will be happy to send them to you.  I will appreciate my name being placed on the main graphic (in small letters).

2. A link MUST be placed ON the SAME page(s) my graphics are displayed on and referred back to:  http://www.graphicsbypennyparker.com   For non-graphic or non-web set designers, each set comes with a matching logo which can be used as a graphic link, or if you would prefer, a text link will be fine.

NOTE:  Under NO circumstances is credit on a "Links" page or a page of "Credits" acceptable.  The link must be placed on the SAME page as the graphics are on.

3. My images MAY be used as background graphics for personal web sites only.  The pictures may NOT be altered or changed in any way.

4. You do not have to use all parts of the set if you do not need them and you do not have to set the page up just as I have it.

5. NONE of my graphics may be redistributed or resold.  Images are NOT to be used to create filters, brushes, tubes, nozzles, or dingbat fonts and may NOT be included on a compilation CD, graphic collections of clip art, computer bulletin board, etc.  The pictures may be used for signature cards or tags that is created with matching stationery.  For printed applications of any type, please contact me by email.

6. Please refrain from using any of my artwork, graphics or backgrounds on any pages promoting child abuse, hate, bigotry, racism, animal abuse, and/or pornographic activities.  I retain the right to refuse use if your site is of low moral benefit.

7. Download graphics to your own server or computer.  NEVER link off someone else's server.  This is called "bandwidth robbery" and means that every time someone opens your site, and the images on someone else's server are referenced by your page, they have to pay for the "bandwidth" it took to transfer the images to your site.

8. If, for any reason, I request that the images from my site be removed from your site, you will be given 72 hours to comply.  Violations of the Terms Of Use could subject you to this request.

the poetry page was made by Dreamwork Designs (from graphics by Penny Parker), here are their terms of use:

Our terms of service are simple, we require a link back on every page you use the graphic sets on. Please use this url to link back to Dreamwork Designs... http://dreamworkdesigns.com

Some sets are created from an artist's painting. Each artist has given us permission. You must provide a link back to the artist, as well as to Dreamwork Designs, either with the button provided or a text link. The artists have been very nice to give us permission to use their beautiful work, so it's the least we can do.

DO NOT LINK DIRECTLY TO THE GRAPHIC IMAGES

Please save all graphics to your own hard drive. We have taken steps to protect our bandwidth. Please use your own server.
Our graphic sets are for use on personal homepages only (non-profit).

Our graphics are not to be used....
- on commercial websites (for profit)
- on message boards!
- in emails!
- as stationery!
- to create sigtags!

Keep all sets as they were created, no mixing of sets, no resizing or altering. If you require an extra button or a title graphic, please email us and we will see if we can help you out.

We reserve the right to change these terms at any time.

If you want to add some to the HTML thread that's ok.
We'll see if we use them as time goes on. OK?

Thanks for the information.
