Good Morning ladies.. .

I went to  have a look at that tut, she's taking more steps than she has to.  she's on the right track but  there is no need for so many steps.

One .. if you have a picture with a white background or a simple pic.  all you need to do is

1. make sure you turn you pic to Raster layer. For this you go to Layer/ and Convert to Raster Layer

2. take the magic wand with the same settings she said and click on the white.. then you will see the marching ants surrounding the white like her pic.

3. all you have to do now is press delet on your key board and the white background will be deleted.. now all you have to do is zoom in to see if there is any cleaning you have to do .. normally you shouldn't have any to do...

Now.. if the pic has a drop shadow it doesn't work as easy.. the marching ants will not surround the shadow so your still left with the dark shadow around the pic.. you could errase it by zooming in and cleaning it up though.. ( it can be a long process)

once you have the pic with no back ground all you have to do is save the pic as a ..... PSP Image * PSP* psp... which is in your psp.

Note.. if you have a pic that has more white in other areas of the pic just do the same click on the white and marching ants will surround the white.. then press delete..
Also not that once you have deleted the white.. the marching ants will still be there .. just go to selections and click on select none.

Hope this helps some..
Bay

glad it helped Mar.... I just noticed that I made a mistake in my wording .... I said..
the marching ants will not surround the shadow so your still left with the dark shadow around the pic..
I meant to say will surrond the shadow too..

Bay
