Dear members,

i didn't know which message board was appropriate, sorry if i have boo boo'd

this druid wants to know something, so if you could whip open ya books of shadows (or is that books of shadow????? ) .... and find out for me .......

i am wondering if they is any reason why salt would turn black?????  ummmm .... lemme try to explain what i'm getting at ......  a thought popped into my head that if a powerful enough dark spirit (ie: demon, etc) came into contact with salt (say a circle that is protecting someone) .... would it turn black as an indication that it had come in contact with the salt?  orrrrrrrrrr ..... would it supposedly turn black for any other occult reason (apart from my cooking hehehe)?

merely curious,

Shan.

First off did you witness this occurance yourself.
Second off the salt one uses could be white or black but it won't turn from white to black or visaversa.
White salt is a spicific compound and black salt is an intirely different compound.
I have never seen this phenom but if it has happened then rest assured the person was dabbling where they need not dabble.

You are very correct, young one. My research, so far, hasn't found any magical reason for salt to turn black. I'm still looking though. I have a large library to use. If I don't find anything my Craft books I'll start in my High Magic books. Wolfy

dear shaman bro

nope didnt witness it, it was a thought that occured to me ........ like the past weird questions i asked you - remember me asking for confirmation about crushing a type of crystal with salt will enhance the power of salt????   well, this is the same sorta thought/daydream state i was in when i thought of the salt changing colour.

lotsa luv, lasagne and other fattening stuff!!!!

Shan.
