I thought I would tell the story of our ghost Sydney.
Syd is a ferret of ours yeap he is in present tence, he had a very short life before a sudden illness took him from us briefly. Around the same time we received his ashes we started having incidences that are now so common we miss him when he goes away for a few days, when he goes back and visits his USA brothers and sisters, so heres our story.

When we first moved into our house in Herrin we would notice every now and then a black cat curled at the end of our bed or walking past the door, very weird considering we didnt own a cat. The ferrets terrorised this ghostly cat and once Syd returned home they would leap and attack the thin air and the ghost cat left LOL but they would still do there little war dance leap of joy when they were passing what we presumed to be Syd (if you have watched ferrets play you will know what I mean) . At times we would feel the tap of a ferrets paw on our leg, and bend down to pick up the ferret or look to see who was playing tag and run and see nothing , we thought nothing of it untill it started happening when the ferrets were locked in their cage. We would look to see who was the escapie and they would all be curled up asleep so then we started putting two and two together then he started becoming a blur , we would see a blur of a ferret run past its feet dont actualy touch the ground more like its floating just millimetres of the ground.
When we had to move back to Australia I had to rehome the ferrets, I was worried about Syd so we made a little bed in a hamper with his collar blankie and a toy and his urn and we said a little prayer and preformed a small ritual and hoped that he got the idea. When Shaman closed the crate for the last time he was sure he caught a glimpse of him.
After we sent Syd of to Australia that black cat came back LOL

When the crate finally arrived in Australia we set him free and told him he can visit between here and USA to visit his brothers, for a week we didnt notice anything but then one night Shaman was awoken in the middle of the night by something bouncing all over him this upset me a little because it didnt wake me up I complained loudly as I usually do and that night I got bounced , Oh boy was I happy LOL
When I took his brothers and sisters to their new home I warned their new mom of the extra ferret she will see ocassionally,  we are still getting visits, the tap on a leg occasionally and he still plays with our new babies his new brothers, I think he is letting them know that Shaman and I are not the mean ogres they think we are.

Anybody else have a ghostly tail or two
