the death man cometh the death man follows me far and near its not my happiness he wants its my tears i used to think it was me he was after, because he was always so close, when i was a little kid he took my first little pet puppy before its time i couldn't see him then but i could hear his laughter. as i grew older he was ever so present, always taking an aunt or an uncle or best friend. i have been in car wrecks, boat sinkings, burned down houses, and lots of other freak accidents and walked away unscathed while those around me did not, you took them Mr. death man and left me to mourn there loss. as i went from a boy to a man you made me become angry and not caring and to not get close or to care for any one or thing, thinking that in this way you could not hurt me. i became lonely and bitter, joined the army and began volunteering for dangerous assignments. but all you did was to make me see what you could do to other people, how they could be so cruel to each other and to see the suffering you could cause on others, you Mr death man were always so close yet out of my reach. then one night you came for me in that jungle on that dark and humid night. i never will forget your rancid breath or your glowing eyes, i dropped my weapons to the ground and planted my feet firmly and faced you i was overwhelmed with a hatred for you, then a strange feeling came over me i wasn't afraid of you any more. you weren't laughing any more we stood there in the jungle that dark damp night and stared at each other for what seemed like hours but was only seconds and you went away, i don't fear you Mr death man i just despise you you still try to come for me but you are the one who is afraid now you still take things that are dear to me but you keep your distance even tho i tried to get you to take me instead of my sandy i pleaded and i begged you to take me instead but you took her and left me again. be advised Mr death man i will not live forever, and when i die death will be coming for you, Mr death man. |
