Light a golden candle, draw on a map five inches of the area where you want the sun to shine. Moving it clock wise, circle it around the candle three times, imagining that the flame is the sun.
Burn the map in the flame as you make your wish, saying:
"Fair weather I ask you to shine,
On this special day of mine,
I've chased the clouds away,
So the sun will shine all day."
Your special day will be filled with sunshine.
To stir up the wind to dry washing on a line, stand with your back to the breeze and exhale while facing the laundry.
To make it less windy, inhale and blow the wind back in the direction it is blowing from.
