~~ Worship ~~

Ps 95:1 O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Ps 95:2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

Ps 95:6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

Ps 100:1 A Psalm of praise. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

Ps 100:2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

Ps 100:3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Ps 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. Ps 100:5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Lu 18:13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. Lu 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

1ti 2:8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

Ps 63:3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

Ps 63:4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

Ps 119:48 My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.

Ps 134:1 A Song of degrees. Behold, bless ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD. Ps 134:2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.

La 3:41 Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.

Ps 29:2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Lu 17:15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, Lu 17:16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

Lu 19:37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; Lu 19:38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. Lu 19:39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.

Mt 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

Mt 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

I just felt to give you a few verses on true worship and how to come into His Presence. Going to church does not get it for you. Sitting on a bench does not do it. Only when you lift up your own heart to God in true worship, will you be able to enter into his joyous presence and receive the blessing he has for you.

Do not cheat yourselves out of this glory which was meant for God’s people to have. When you fail to pray, to worship, to lift your voice up in Praise and adoration of the living God, you are not going to receive the glory and power of God into your life. Many people do not even know one thing about this power and glory, and therefore they think it is not available for any today. That is SO WRONG.

You are living far beneath your privilege and joy which you could have and should have, if you are not obeying these commands of worship. If you desire to come into God’s holy presence, enter into his courts with praise and thanksgiving. It does not have to be any particular building or place. Those days are over. We have no set place or time to worship our God. God hates that, having a set time for it. God wishes to lead us by his Spirit.

You do not need a crowd. All you need is two or three and Jesus is there in your midst. You may also find this glory all alone, for He is there with you, making the needed two. But if you can get at least one other person, and get together and pray and worship God you will be amazed at the glory which will come to you. It may not be there the first time, but do not give up. God is pleased when we come to him each day. Each time you and one other person get together and pray and worship the Lord, His presence will become stronger and greater in your lives and in your blessings.

Learn to pray the Lord’s prayer to Him, in a loud voice. Do not be timid in worshipping God. This will hinder your joy and freedom. Notice how Scripture says to make a joyful noise to Him and use a loud voice, lifting up your hands in worship. Do not allow dead churches to cheat you out of real worship. God is delighted when his people worship him in this acceptable way. When you pray, seek for the gifts of the Spirit. Really pray for them. Ask God for them. Do not give up. Continue to seek for these gifts until they are active in your daily life. This is what we are meant to have and do. Ask God for the gift of faith. Pray for the gift of healing, discernment, speaking in tongues, interpreting, holy dreams and vision, working miracles. Call these gifts by name and seek God to give them to you. That is the very reason most people do not have these gifts, they do not seek God for them. When you pray, believe and ye shall have what you ask for.

It is wrong not to have these gifts at work in our lives, for this is how we bring glory to our God. Do not allow false teachers to tell you these things are not for us today. Yes they are. They are not only available, but they are a must. You cannot do the works of God without them. You are just a dead puff of wind if you are not exercising these gifts.

Ask God to help you to witness to someone each day. Take every opportunity to witness of His glory. When salespeople call on the phone, use that to witness to them. You will be pleasantly surprised at how some of these things will turn out. Preach the Word every chance you get. You do not have to say much, just a word of two to let them know Jesus is still alive in his people. It will work wonders for you and them. God said, in ALL your ways, ACKNOWLEDGE Him and He will direct your path. This is the means of having God always direct your path and to keep you safe in this world.

When you walk by the river, the lakes, the parks, or wherever you go, always be praying and worshipping our God. When you look at the lovely flowers, the beautiful trees, the intriguing clouds, etc, Praise our God for what he has made. Let him know each day that you love him. Learn to pray Scripture to God. It is powerful.

If you see someone, even children, acting ugly, under the influence of evil spirits, pray and order those evil spirits to go in the name of Jesus Christ. Your faith will grow each time you exercise this prayer. Soon, those evil spirits will obey you.

If you see someone sick, ask if you can pray for them. I do this all the time, even over the phone. I have been healed myself, by someone praying for me over the phone and I have had the same results in praying for others over the phone. God is not limited as to what and where he will do his miracles.

Your faith may be weak at first, but each time you obey God’s command to pray for the sick, your faith will grow, and you will begin to see them healed by prayer alone. If you are sick, call some Christian and ask them to pray for you. Just the very act of obeying this, and calling for prayer many times is all that it takes, and healing with be given to you. Pray for your own self. Sometimes when something is wrong with me, I just earnestly Pray and God heals me. I tell him, this is your body, so do to it as you please. This is a miracle-working prayer! Try it sometimes! You will be glad you did.

This is what each and every Christian, or child of God is supposed to be doing in our daily lives. Get to it! If sin is in your life, repent and get it out. Deny your flesh and walk in the spirit. Take up your cross and follow Jesus. That sin will hinder this from being effective. When you are under condemnation, you will not feel much faith. So stop sinning and be used of God!

Study the Word and pray each day. These things are what makes you grow in the nurture and knowledge of God and mature in Christ. Going to church will never accomplish these things for you. You, yourself, must put forth the effort to serve and worship God on a daily basis, if you desire to grow up into the statue of the full grown man, Jesus Christ. Build up your part of the Holy Walls of the City of God. This is how you do it. If you will start doing these few things regularly, you will be amazed at the glory and faith which will come to you. Your life will never be the same again. You will never be putty in the hands of Satan again. You will begin to be able to cut his kingdom off the earth.

I pray this message will help some of you to find what you need in the Lord.

A great message Jo Thankyou, and so true, I found that when I first became a christian and started praying for others,  that my confidence in prayer started to grow, the more I prayed the more I saw things things changing around me , people being healed, my circumstances changing,  for the better, and as my confidence grew I was more able to pray for others with them, and could feel God's tender touch and presence, I found that thanking God from my heart for all he has done, and giving praise and worshipping him and reading the word, has changed my life, my thoughts, my ways,  and changed others without them even reallising what is happening. hugs Chrissie
