Psalms 40~~~~~~~ The Change

1. I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

2. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

3. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.

4. Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

5. Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

6. Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

7. Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

8. I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

9. I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest.

10. I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.

11. Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

12. For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.

13. Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me: O Lord, make haste to help me.

14. Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.

15. Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.

16. Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified.

17. But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.

Jesus is speaking in this Psalm -- as He is in the others also. Until you see this, you will miss the true meaning of the Word.

In verse two, Jesus said God brought him up out of an horrible PIT, out of the MIRY CLAY. So what is this PIT. It is the human flesh, same as the Miry Clay. The miry clay is this human flesh, same as the pit.

This is the Babylon = the human flesh. Babylon is the PIT. Human flesh is what has gone awhoring against God. This miry clay is what we must bring under subjection to the Spirit of God. This is what we must crucify every day if we are to walk in newness of life.

Study this chapter: you will learn about Jesus. When He set his feet upon a ROCK --- this is speaking of the resurrection; of the Glorified Body. The ROCK is that which will never fail or decay; it is the glorified body. It is solid; it is truth; it is in the image of God; it will never be changed.

After receiving the glorification, then we can say, “He established my goings?

v3--He put a ‘new song?in my mouth, even praise unto our God. This is the glory we shall have after we receive the glorification. Forever then, we will praise our God. The praise then will be perfect Praise. We will be doing it in newness of LIFE.

‘Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.?/P>

This was fulfilled in Jesus after His resurrection; it will also be fulfilled in us after we receive glorification.

v4--is speaking of the man who does not turn aside to the lying teachings of the whore.

We may continue to take this chapter a verse at a time and expound on it if you wish.

See? Another wonderful message no one was interested in.  I find this all the time when I 'go fishing'.
I might add that the coming up out the horrible pit and miry clay was speaking of the grave.

Now the above verses prove that this is again Jesus speaking in the Book of Psalms.  Is not this repeated in Hebrews and shown to be our Lord Jesus?  Of course it is.

Jesus is the only one who can truthfully say that he has been brought up out of that miry clay.

V5-- Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works.....    Now here is another verse proving that Jesus calls the LORD  his God.

If it is Jesus speaking in verses 6 & 7 & 8, then it is also Jesus speaking in verse 5.  The person speaking has not changed on bit.

Only a willfully blind person could continue to deny this with this many Scriptures ABSOLUTELY PROVING IT.  And there are so many more, I could never show you them all.  You just need to start studying the Word for yourself.  You need to open your heart to God and pray and ask him to teach you.

But you must have a teachable spirit in order for the Spirit to lead and guide you and teach you all truth.  That is exactly what is blocking everyone from seeing the truth,  you do not have a teachable mind;  you flat refuse the Word which is presented with full proof.

God will not hold you guiltless who have rejected this much of His Word.

Read verse 8-- I delight to do thy will Oh My God.  Now this is Jesus speaking.  For it has been Jesus speaking all the way down through here.

If you say it is not Jesus, then find Scripture to prove who is the one who came to do thy will Oh My God.   Who said in the volume of the Book it is written of me?
