This is me new project I'm trying to get up and running....so am giving you a preview of me very first attempt.

The 4 crystals either side at the top do sparkle well, but i couldn't capture them well on a pic.
It's only an 8oz (250gram) shoe so is easily carried by the attached ribbon.
I've been wanting to make these for ages....and beings that I can see better now thought it about time I got cracking!

Very nice it is too Helen, as Jean said  ..what a great idea.  It's been years since I've seen a bridal horseshoe  they're not traditional here
so tell me, do brides still carry them with the bouquet?  Took me down memory lane you did

Yes they still have them Bee...... but I've only seen the cardboard and silver paper version..... bit on the tacky side!!

This is beautiful Helen.... I'll bet you have no trouble finding homes for them.  You could have spotted a 'niche' in the market I reckon!

That is very pretty Helen, and much longer lasting than the ones you buy from the card shops,
When I got married my nana made some for my girls and my brother to give to me and she had used oddments of the material to my wedding dress which she also made and everyone commented and said how she ought to make them to sell. (i still have them)

Good luck with your project

Hugs Sam x

It's a while since you posted this Helen , wondered if you've sold any or thought of putting a trial on ebay?
