SNICKERDOODLES
The simplicity of sugar and cinnamon will take you back to grandma's kitchen.

Yield: 5 dozen cookies
Cookie Ingredients:
2 3/4 | | cups all-purpose flour |
1 1/2 | | cups sugar |
1 | | cup LAND O LAKES® Butter, softened |
2 | | eggs |
2 | | teaspoons cream of tartar |
1 | | teaspoon baking soda |
1 | | teaspoon vanilla |
1/4 | | teaspoon salt |
Sugar Mixture Ingredients:
3 | | tablespoons sugar |
1 1/2 | | teaspoons ground cinnamon |
Heat oven to 400°F. Combine all cookie ingredients in large bowl. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
Stir together 3 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon in small bowl.
Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into 1-inch balls; roll in sugar mixture. Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
