SALMON TREATS (YUMMY CHUMMIES)
1 can flaked salmon
2 Cups Wheat flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/3 cup water
1/2 liquid smoke
1/4 tsp Rosemary (I use dried and add to the water in the beginning to give it a chance to hydrate)
Preheat oven to 350°F
In a blender or food processor, add can of Salmon (water bones and all), and all other ingredients, and blend until well blended. Remove, and knead until it is a soft dough.
Separate into 2 balls
*On lightly floured surface, roll ball to about 1/4 inch thickness and place on a lightly greased Cookie sheet. I use a pizza cutter and cut into small bite sized rectangles because that is what a Yummy Chummy looks like, BUT, if you prefer you CAN use this recipe with cookie cutters.
Bake for 20-30 minutes, remove, cool, and pamper the puppy.
This recipe makes 2 cookie sheets of biscuits. Store them in a baggy in the fridge.
