I practiced my HTML coding and came up with this. Hope it is of interest.
Copy and paste to next reply, crossing a previous word with another.

You put your cursor at the top of the table, push and hold left mouse button, draw the blue selection areas down to the bottom of the table and release.
 
Then you can copy by ctrl-C or right click ans select Copy from the menu.
 
Open a reply window and paste by ctrl-V or right click and use paste from the menu.
 
Put your cursor in the box which will start the word you wish to enter and hit the letter. Do same for all letters as shown below. If you get a wide box, delete the space which shows up before or after the letter.

I am using MSN Internet Explorer. Plain text box should not be checked.
 
 If you use Netscape or some other browser you will have to figure out what to do yourself.

You copy and paste the table as if it were text.
Then you put your cursor in one of the boxes and enter a letter.
Then move to another box and do likewise.
Continue till you have a word which uses one letter of an existing word.
If a box gets wider than the others, remove the extra space (which was there to start with, instead of your letter).
Check it over then hit SEND MESSAGE.

I made an error in message-4: Should have been ....
You put your cursor at the top of the table, push and hold left mouse button, draw the blue selection areas down to the bottom of the table and release.
 
Then you can copy by ctrl-C
 
Open a reply window and paste by ctrl-V
(You push and hold the control key, then push the other letter, then let go of both. This copies the hi-lited material to the hidden internal computer clipboard using ctrl-C, and retrieves from the clipboard using ctrl-V)
