Being always the skeptic... this rather reminds me of when National Geograpic ran an article on a 'pristine village'.  And, got caught paying the villagers to change from their western clothes into tribal costumes.  i.e. Faking the whole thing.  Something about that article didn't 'feel' right to me.   But, I've been wrong before!!!
