I sense that a lot of drinking went on before this heist. --L.B. Ark. thieves take bank ATM in Bella Vista AP Posted: 2008-07-01 16:49:34 BELLA VISTA, Ark. (AP) - Thieves in northwest Arkansas made a huge withdrawal at a Pulaski Bank branch early Monday morning - they took a whole automated teller machine with them. Bella Vista police say the thieves used a front-end loader to tear the 3,200-pound ATM from its bolts at the bank. Investigators believe at least two men used a heavy chain attached to the loader to pull the ATM away, then put it in the back of a Dodge pickup truck. |
