Getting round the clock coverage on all space happenings both significant and insignificant; I figured I would create this thread to keep you up-to-date on the significant happenings.  Whether it is a shuttle mission, rocket mission, or whether someone goes "Nowak" on someone be sure there will be something here posted about it.  There will be coverage on the launches in CA and VA as well.

Space shuttle leaves Texas, bound for Fla. home

Endeavour landed at California backup site because of storms in Florida

FORT WORTH, Texas - Hundreds of motorists pulled over to watch a jumbo jet hauling space shuttle Endeavour take off from Fort Worth, bound for Cape Canaveral, Fla.

The modified jet departed Thursday morning, transporting Endeavour on a piggyback ride that began Wednesday from Edwards Air Force Base, Calif.

Endeavour, after an interim stop at Biggs Army Airfield at Fort Bliss, near El Paso, flew on to the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base at Fort Worth to spend the night.

Endeavour is based at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The shuttle landed at the California backup site on Nov. 30 because of storms in Florida. The cross-country ferry is expected to cost more than $1.8 million.
