OK...so I'm gonna start this little blog type thing here. If that's cool. It'll mostly be about the crazy nine months that lay ahead, but I'll talk about other stuff too.
So first, crappy news. I got laid off from my job Thursday. Yeah AWESOME timing!!!!
They had to let go of 26 people in February because our accountant is a moron apparently and put the company in the hole by about 1 million bucks (and yet she still has a job????). I managed to dodge that bullet.
However this past Thursday they had to let go of yet another 30 people. Our executive director voluntarily quit. So I was part of that crowd. Now I am right back to the unemployment office.....AGAIN!!!!!!
I swear, I have absolutely NO LUCK with jobs whatsoever. Either I get stuck in some shitty job that I hate so much I have to hold back tears in the morning when I go. Or I find a job I like and get laid off a year later because of something stupid. Damn, I need a sugar daddy!
The good news is that since I'm now preggers, I qualify for all sorts of crap. I got a severance package. I'll get 6 more weeks of pay. I applied for unemployment of course. I also applied for food stamps and Tenncare (free health car in Tennessee). The bad news is, tenncare can take 45-90 days to get approved. My current insurance runs out the 31st of this month. So yeah, that will be a possible THREE MONTHS with no insurance! I don't know what the hell I'm gonna do about that. *sighs*
I have my first ultrasound on the 28th. Luckily before my insurance runs out. So I will get to see my regular doctor for that. After that, who knows? :(
So enough about that........
I haven't really had too many weird cravings yet. The weirdest one I got was in the middle of the afternoon a couple of days ago, I wanted pancakes and syrup REALLY bad! So I had to go to the store and get some. LOL!
I also want salads a lot. Which is weird because I've never been a big salad fan, except for Olive Garden. Their salad is the bomb! I think it's because I never eat vegetables. I hate veggies! But now, guess I kinda have to eat them.
Still haven't been really sick. Which totally rules! I only had slight nausea every once in a while. Haven't puked once! But now what little bit of nausea I had seems to be completely gone already. I haven't been sick at all in a while.
I am constantly hungry. Constantly exhausted. Feel a little bloated. Other than that I'm OK. This really hasn't been that bad of an experience..........so far.
So I'll keep y'all posted on the pregnancy and NOW my stupid job (or lack thereof) situation. |

I posted a couple more pics. I went with Jason to his dad and stepmoms house for Xmas. There is a guy who lives down the street from them who takes Santa pics. So they got him to come over and take a picture with me, Aiden and Jason. So we have a picture of him with Santa already.
And Sue, I got the package the other day. Thank you so much! I need to get a picture of Aiden in his little Cartman hat. |

Thanks for the pix Summer! Y'all look so cute!  I hope the Cartman hat fits, Gary told me it was too small, I told him it was stretchy though! lol |

thanks for the new pictures Summer I KNOW you have more we want to see as many as you can post here amd please tell us about your Christmas how are you feeling? Is Jason actually helping you out with Aiden? |
