Today I was given orders to set course immediatly to the planet N'Torma for a mission of first contact.  Starfleet has been eager to make contact with the N'tormans for quite some time, in part because of their startegic location to the Romualn Neutral Zone. The only complications expected in this mission is if the Romulans get there first...

Computer begin Log;

 

I have returned to duty after my attack that happened early this morning.  The search, conducted by Lt Cmdr Sarevok, found that there was an intruder on board.  I later went to the Brig to briefly interogate the prisoner.  We found out that L'arren, that being the prisoners name, was from the very planet we are coming to make first contact with, N'torma.  Apparently there has been some geological trouble that has caused the deaths of millions.  Despiration caused them to come to space in search of sort of assistance.  His story has yet to be confirmed, but efforts will be made.  the coordinates of his ships location were given to Sarevok, and though there was a little hastle in the beggining diplomatic efforts are underway.  Further interogations of the prisoner shall continue in the near future...
